About

Marsha was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She earned a BA in Philosophy from Calvin College and an MA in Jewish Studies from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. Her MA includes studies at the Hebrew University in Israel.

Marsha studied illustration at the Parsons School of Design in New York and registered her first ART AS RESPONSA business license in Sausalito, California (1994). 

Other art studies include life drawing at the New York Art Students League, painting with John Byle at the Bezalel Academy of Arts, and hand-built ceramics through independent studio work. 

Marsha began manufacture of her contemporary Judaica in 1999. She has sold work to private collectors, and through museum gift shops, including the Berlin Jewish Museum and the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. 

Marsha taught art classes for Hebrew Schools in New York and served as an art instructor for Creative Arts Summer Camp,  Convent of the Sacred Heart.

In Los Angeles, Marsha worked as an art specialist for Congregation Adat Shalom, the Skirball Cultural Center, and the Sinai Akiba Academy.

Marsha owns all associated artwork, designs, copyrights, trademarks, URLS, and published materials.
