Marsha's first text-based art class happened at Congregation Rodeph Shalom in New York.
She also taught at the West End Synagogue and worked for two summers as the Art Instructor for Creative Arts Summer Camp at the Convent of the Sacred Heart (Upper East Side).

In Los Angeles, Marsha created The Bible Lab for the Sinai Akiba Academy and facilitated art programs for the Skirball Cultural Center.
Marsha also served for three years as a teaching artist at the Religious School for Congregation Adat Shalom in Los Angeles.
By contrast, she did a one-day project resulting in a large-scale diptych about the Twelve Tribes of Israel for Burbank Temple Emanu-El.
